About Karl Butzer
Karl Butzer studies the relationships between prehistoric peoples and the environment as well as more recent societies and their relationship to the environment. His research includes Ancient Egypt and concerns of global warming. He is also interested in cultural ecology, applied geomorphology and geo-archaeology.
