About Kenneth Boulding

Kenneth Boulding was an economist who co-founded the General Systems Theory. He believed that human economic and other behavior are embedded in a larger interconnected system and that in the absence of a committed effort into conscientious social research, humans may be due for extinction. Boulding was also an active Quaker.
