Linda Kerber is an American historian who focuses on the history of citizenship, gender and authority. She is also interested in feminist theory and U.S. legal history. She co-wrote the book No Constitutional Right to Be Ladies: Women and the Obligations of Citizenship (1998) and was awarded the Littleton-Grizwold Prize for it. In 2006 she served as the president of the American Historical Association.
