About A. L. Kroeber

Alfred Kroeber was an influential American anthropologist in the first half of the twentieth century. Although he is know for his work in cultural anthropology he also contributed greatly to the study of archaeology. His work includes the study of the western tribes of Native Americans. He has been recognized for his research and concepts on Cultural Area and Cultural Configuration.
